Terms and Conditions for Launch Editing Services

1. Services Provided

Launch Editing (hereinafter referred to as "the Editor") offers novel editing services, including but not limited to proofreading, copyediting, developmental editing, and manuscript critique.
2. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to provide the Editor with an editable manuscript in the agreed format and timeline.

The Client acknowledges that the Editor's services do not guarantee publication or literary success.
3. Fees and Payment

The Client agrees to pay the Editor the agreed-upon fee for the editing services.

Payment is due prior to commencement of services.
4. Turnaround Time

The Editor will provide an estimated time frame for completing the editing services. Delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances, and the Editor will notify the Client promptly of any changes.
5. Revisions

The Client may request revisions within a reasonable period after receiving the edited manuscript, subject to additional fees if the revisions are outside the scope of the initial agreement.
6. Confidentiality

The Editor agrees to keep all Client information and manuscript content confidential and will not disclose it to any third party without the Client's consent, except as required by law.
7. Copyright

The Client retains all rights and copyright to their manuscript. The Editor will not claim ownership or rights to the manuscript.
8. Limitation of Liability

The Editor's liability is limited to the amount of fees paid by the Client for the editing services. The Editor is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the services provided.
9. Termination

Either party may terminate the agreement by providing written notice to the other party. The Client agrees to pay for services rendered up to the termination date.
10. Governing Law

This agreement shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia
11. Entire Agreement

This document constitutes the entire agreement between the Editor and the Client regarding novel editing services and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings.
By purchasing this service, the Client acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
